Kansas Licensed Stormwater Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing drainage practice, the remote Kansas Licensed Stormwater Engineer will manage engineering design for roadway drainage projects, conduct hydraulic studies, and prepare construction plans while collaborating with project managers and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering design for roadway drainage and design-build projects including collector streets and interstates
• Conduct bridge hydraulic studies and prepare construction plans, cost estimates, and technical reports
• Lead marketing efforts for drainage projects, including proposal development and presentations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• EIT working towards PE License
• 4+ years of DOT drainage design experience
