Job Summary
Seeking a Kansas Licensed Structural Project Engineer, the permanent position in Kansas City, MO, offers a collaborative environment for a professional with 3-5 years of experience in managing large-scale projects, utilizing Revit, and understanding pre-engineered metal buildings, with the option to work remotely while visiting the office once a month.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project services to meet customer expectations and serve as the primary contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicate effectively with clients and respond promptly to requests while ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met
- Apply engineering expertise to provide design guidance that results in practical and economical building solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis
- 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing structural steel building projects
- Familiarity with IBC, AISC, AISE 13, and MBMA codes and guidelines
- Proficiency in engineering software such as Revit, STAAD, RISA, RAM, SAP 2000, and AutoCAD
- Experience in connection design and heavy industrial crane buildings
