Job Summary
To deliver comprehensive virtual care to patients of all ages, the part-time Kansas Licensed Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner will conduct evaluations, manage treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams while working remotely with a commitment to evening and weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams for a wide range of conditions
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute, chronic, and mental health conditions across the lifespan
- Develop and document treatment plans while maintaining current knowledge of clinical best practices
Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master's or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license and maintained Registered Nurse licensure in accordance with state requirements
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Active multi-state licensure, with 5 or more licenses preferred
