Kansas Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing ophthalmology organization, the full-time Kansas Provider Enrollment Specialist will manage high-volume, end-to-end provider enrollments, ensuring accurate application preparation and submission, while working remotely and coordinating closely with providers and insurance payers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle provider enrollments, including application preparation, submission, and follow-up with payers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for provider enrollment inquiries and maintain accurate enrollment data
• Initiate and complete hospital privileging applications, coordinating with medical staff offices to track status and approvals

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
• 2+ years of provider enrollment experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in ophthalmology
• Demonstrated experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes
• Strong knowledge of payer enrollment regulations and credentialing processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and enrollment software such as CAQH and NPPES
