Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Lawyer to support a major international capital project in Kazakhstan.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal support for a large-scale capital construction project in Kazakhstan
• Review, negotiate, and advise on Master Service Agreements and related vendor contracts governed by Kazakhstan law
• Ensure contracts comply with Kazakhstan's legal and regulatory framework, including mandatory local law provisions

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial legal experience, focusing on international or cross-border transactions
• Experience working with contracts governed by Kazakhstan law, directly or in collaboration with local counsel
• Practical knowledge of Kazakhstan commercial, contract, or construction-related legal requirements
• Experience advising on engineering, construction, sourcing, or capital project agreements
• Ability to operate independently while managing local-law input from external counsel
