Kentucky Licensed AR Follow-Up Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Commercial Follow Up Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor commercial and specialty payer accounts receivable for timely follow up and claims resolution
• Follow up on unpaid commercial and third-party payer claims and document all efforts in the AR system
• Collaborate with the denials team on difficult claims and report trends related to payment challenges

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of patient registration, billing, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of medical and insurance terms is desirable
• Experience with EOBs and contractual adjustments
• General computer knowledge, particularly with electronic filing
