Job Summary
Providing critical support to military members and their families, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Caseworker will manage client inquiries, assess needs, and coordinate emergency assistance in a remote environment with a rotating schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Interview callers and coordinate requests for service, including recording client information and determining eligibility for assistance
- Deliver emergency communication messages to military locations and perform related case activities to ensure timely client service
- Collaborate with other Red Cross units to provide comprehensive case management services and follow-up actions
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including one year in a social service agency or contact center
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the military community
- Proven customer-focused experience with strong communication skills and a typing speed of 40 wpm or higher
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while demonstrating strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
