Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder Appeals, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and appeal unpaid claims daily
• Complete follow-up work on appealed claims and work with insurance carriers on appeal issues
• Provide feedback to the coding department regarding coding errors or updates

Required Qualifications

• High School education or GED required
• Must have and maintain Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or equivalent certification through AAPC or AHIMA
• 3 years of prior coding experience preferred
• Prior experience working with medical insurance
