Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time Kentucky Licensed Child Psychiatrist will conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based medication management while collaborating with families and utilizing technology to enhance patient care.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans
- Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD
- Foster a family-centered approach by educating families on mental health issues and involving them in care planning
Required qualifications:
- Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state
- Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment preferred
- Proficiency with computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets)
- Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children and adolescents
- Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework
