Job Summary

Seeking a Kentucky Licensed Claims Adjuster for a temporary full-time role, the Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster will adjudicate complex indemnity claims remotely for clients in Kentucky and other states, ensuring thorough investigations and effective communication with all parties involved.

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicate higher complexity workers' compensation claims with a direct impact on departmental results
• Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
• Report on claims trends and developments to senior management and underwriters

Required qualifications

• Kentucky claims license required at the start of the assignment; ability to secure a West Virginia license within 90 days
• Minimum of two years' experience adjudicating indemnity workers' compensation claims in Kentucky and Pennsylvania
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
• Strong claim negotiation skills and ability to manage claims in litigation
