Job Summary
To support the Casualty Claims Division, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Claims Representative will handle liability and property claims remotely, ensuring compliance with state insurance laws while investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims.
Key responsibilities:
- Investigates and adjudicates claims, verifying coverage and maintaining reserves while documenting claim files
- Establishes contact with all parties involved in claims and evaluates negotiation opportunities, including subrogation
- Responds to inquiries from policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders while maintaining knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with two years of related claims handling or customer service experience, or equivalent educational experience
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
- Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance (INTRO) and Introduction to Claims (AIC 30) preferred
- Ability to obtain required state licenses within 45 days of employment
- Access to internet service bandwidth speeds of at least 50 mbps download and 10 mbps upload
