Job Summary

A company is looking for a PFS Collection Specialist responsible for collecting commercial, government, and patient balances.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding account balances and determine next steps in the collection process
• Follow up on claims and denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided
• Generate necessary paperwork and respond to inquiries from patients and payors

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Computer proficiency and experience in windows-based technologies
• Prior work experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly
• Must be able to work as part of a team and adhere to deadlines
