Job Summary

A company is looking for a Life/Disability Financial Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare underwriting offers for Short Term and Long Term Disability products
• Evaluate financial risk and pricing for new and renewal business
• Provide clear explanations to Sales, clients, and internal partners on risk selection and pricing decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Two or more years of experience underwriting Short Term and Long Term Disability products
• Strong understanding of risk pool management
• Knowledge of the competitive insurance market
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
