Job Summary
Offering a flexible schedule, the part-time Kentucky Licensed Hospice Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pet families across Louisville and Shepherdsville, focusing on compassionate care without the constraints of a non-compete agreement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pets and their families
- Manage a self-scheduled workload, ensuring weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Communicate professionally with team members and pet families, demonstrating compassion and respect
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Experience in end-of-life care and comfort with difficult conversations
- Willingness to work weekends as needed
