Kentucky Licensed Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network resources and a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system for security issues
• Investigate security breaches, develop audits, and document security incidents
• Install security measures, maintain system documentation, and collaborate with cross-agency teams on security projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered)
• Certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), or CompTIA Security+ are preferred
• Understanding of information security regulations including FISMA and NIST
• Experience with government agencies, particularly in information security matters
• Basic network security knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
