Kentucky Licensed Information Security Architect

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, the remote contract Kentucky Licensed Information Security Architect will serve as the principal security advisor, focusing on planning, designing, implementing, and analyzing security systems while collaborating with internal developers and vendor partners to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the current state of the security program, design future states, and create implementation roadmaps
• Develop and manage security policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks and implement effective controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Proven experience (5+ years) in information security architecture, design, and implementation
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred
• Deep understanding of information security regulations including FISMA and FedRAMP
• Experience with government agencies, particularly the Department of Defense (DoD), is a plus
