Job Summary

To support and optimize technical infrastructure, the full-time Kentucky Licensed IT Network Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in networking technologies, ensuring system integrity and compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Support and optimize technical infrastructure, focusing on security, hardware, software, and network components
  • Provide reports on network technology status to enable data-driven decision-making for infrastructure improvements
  • Collaborate with IS technology teams to ensure new products and standards align with organizational goals and best practices
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience in Information Technology, or 10 years of experience without a degree
  • Expertise in Wireless, Data Center Networking, or Campus Routing & Switching
  • Knowledge of networking technology areas beyond the primary specialty
  • Experience in system rollouts, design, installation, and documentation
  • Ability to lead organizational projects adhering to industry best practices and standards
