Job Summary

To ensure billing integrity for the Norton Medical Group, the fully remote Kentucky Licensed Medical Coder will manage coding, billing, and referral functions while serving as a liaison between the practice and the billing office.

Key responsibilities

• Assure the integrity of billing, coding, and accounting functions for the Norton Medical Group
• Serve as a liaison between the practice and the billing office, facilitating communication and processes
• Utilize age-appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice specialty

Required qualifications

• One year of medical coding experience in a specialty office
• Certification as CCA, CCS, CIC-ICD, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
