Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicare Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and resolve claims on the discharged not final billed (DNFB) list
Follow up on unpaid Medicare and Medicare Advantage claims in a timely manner
Document all follow-up efforts in the accounts receivable system

Required Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage billing
Experience with the Direct Data Entry (DDE) system
Ability to analyze and resolve claims issues
Familiarity with inpatient only procedure lists
Understanding of explanation of benefits/remittance advice
