Kentucky Licensed Medicare Specialist

Job Summary

To support efficient billing processes, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Medicare Specialist will manage claims resolution, follow up on unpaid Medicare and Medicare Advantage claims, and ensure accurate billing practices while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitors and resolves claims on the discharged not final billed (DNFB) list
• Ensures timely electronic filing of claims and follows up on unpaid accounts
• Documents follow-up efforts and maintains accurate account records in the AR system

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent
• One year of experience in patient registration, billing, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
• General computer knowledge and ability to learn relevant systems
