Job Summary

Analyzing and evaluating loan files for credit worthiness, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Mortgage Underwriter will approve or decline loans based on compliance with guidelines, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate income and asset calculations for compliance with product requirements
• Analyze loan files for approval or denial based on applicable guidelines and lending practices
• Provide training and feedback to processors and other underwriters to support ongoing learning

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience underwriting conventional, VA, FHA, and Indiana Housing loans
