Job Summary
As a contract Kentucky Licensed Nurse Practitioner, the remote position will provide essential clinical care to children, teens, and young adults, focusing on mental health medication management through video appointments, conducting psychiatric evaluations, and constructing patient-centered treatment plans.
Key responsibilities:
- Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via 60-minute intake and follow-up appointments
- Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
- Construct patient-centered treatment plans and prescribe/manage psychiatric medications
Required qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program or accredited PA program with relevant certification
- Unrestricted state license in Kentucky
- A minimum of 2 years in practice
- Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs with an active DEA license
- Preference for candidates with additional certification or clinical experience with minors
