Job Summary
To support a growing Women's Metabolic Health program, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Nurse Practitioner will deliver comprehensive care focused on obesity and women's health, conducting assessments, providing patient education, and utilizing telehealth tools in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct age-appropriate assessments and intake evaluations for women at risk of overweight or obesity
- Provide patient education on obesity management and promote healthy lifestyle changes through motivational interviewing
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure high-quality care and perform ongoing assessments of patient health status
Required qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, with a preference for Women's Health focus
- Board certification in FNP, AGNP, or WHNP
- Current, unrestricted Kentucky APRN-CNP License and DEA or ability to obtain
- 1+ years of experience in Obesity Medicine
- MSCP Certification from the Menopause Society strongly preferred
