Job Summary
To support a growing Occupational Health and Workers' Compensation program, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Occupational Health Advisor will manage medical surveillance, claims, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with stakeholders to promote injury prevention and timely return-to-work initiatives in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and oversee medical surveillance programs and systems for risk assessment and compliance
- Lead and manage Workers' Compensation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise on medical claims management and collaborate with various departments to enhance program efficiency
Required qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Health, Nursing, or other EHS disciplines
- 3+ years of experience handling medium complexity workers' compensation indemnity claims
- Active RN license and 3+ years of occupational clinic or emergency room nursing experience
- Current knowledge of OSHA, workers' compensation, ADA, and FMLA regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong analytical skills
