Kentucky Licensed Oncology Technician

Job Summary

Supporting pharmacy operations, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Oncology Technician will assist with dispensing specialty medications, resolve patient and provider inquiries, and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, with the possibility of remote work.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide first-call resolution for patient and provider inquiries, triaging calls to appropriate departments
• Coordinate medication deliveries and collect co-payments while adhering to customer service practices
• Perform pharmacy-related activities in accordance with state and federal laws and manufacturer programs

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of pharmacy experience
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by state law
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, including sig codes and brand/generic names of medications
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
