Job Summary
Supporting a growing defensive litigation practice, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Paralegal will assist multiple attorneys with handling subpoenas, bankruptcy proceedings, garnishments, and personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, with the flexibility to work remotely or from Louisville, KY.
Key responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with a diverse caseload in various litigation matters
- Manage and respond to subpoenas, bankruptcy matters, and other legal documentation
- Collaborate within a team environment while demonstrating sound judgment in prioritizing tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or Paralegal certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house setting
- Experience supporting matters through all phases of litigation and with e-discovery
- Proven experience in complex project management and cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
