Kentucky Licensed Payment Analyst

Job Summary

To ensure accuracy and timeliness in payment processing, the fully remote Kentucky Licensed Payment Analyst will manage the posting of payments, analyze remittance payments, and resolve credit balances while utilizing EPIC Medical Records Systems and MS Office applications.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and post payments from remittances for all facilities
• Analyze and resolve remittance payments, ensuring correct application of contractual allowances and denial amounts
• Research patient accounts with credit balances and prepare refunds as necessary

Required qualifications

• Three years of experience in medical cash payment, collections, or billing
• Proficiency in EPIC Medical Records Systems, MS Word, and Excel
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Understanding of explanation of benefits and patient statements
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
