Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Pharmacy Care Advocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between patients, caregivers, and medical staff to facilitate medication access
• Perform financial, billing, and clinical audits to maintain program integrity and document findings
• Complete prior authorizations and coordinate patient appointments in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/equivalent (required)
• Three (3) years of experience as a pharmacy technician (preferred)
• Three (3) years of experience with patient access, insurance verification, or medical billing (preferred)
• Registered or eligible to register as a pharmacy technician with the State Board of Pharmacy Examiners (required)
• PTCB certification preferred if working in a retail pharmacy setting handling medications
