Kentucky Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing patient care initiative, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage prescription fulfillment processes, assist with prior authorizations, and provide exceptional service to patients and healthcare providers while working remotely from Monday to Friday, 10am to 6:30pm EST.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinates program referrals, including savings card activations, insurance verifications, and prescription billing
• Acts as the primary contact for patient and physician inquiries, forwarding clinical calls to Staff Pharmacists
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient interactions and ensures compliance with regulations regarding prescription billing

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• Registration/Certification with the Board of Pharmacy as required by law
• Customer service experience
• Familiarity with pharmacy terminology and billing processes
