Kentucky Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing pharmacy operation, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Pharmacy Technician will process prescriptions, verify patient information, and communicate with pharmacy representatives while working remotely during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Verify prescription information prior to processing to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Communicate with pharmacy representatives regarding medication compliance and inventory management
• Maintain records and logs, ensuring adherence to HIPAA and other regulations

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Kentucky Pharmacy Technician Registration
• Must be over the age of 18
• One year of previous specialty pharmacy technician experience preferred
• National certification through the PTCB or another approved agency is a plus
