Kentucky Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support patient care initiatives, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage prescription work, coordinate medication deliveries, and provide customer service in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively calls patients to schedule and coordinate medication deliveries while collecting co-payments
• Ensures continuity of care and timely shipping of orders, addressing patient inquiries and complaints effectively
• Documents prescription billing in compliance with Medicare/DMEPOS regulations and communicates relevant information to supervisors

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience required
• Familiarity with pharmacy terminology, billing, and medication classifications is essential
• Pharmacy Technician Certification is required; certification from PTCB is preferred
• Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy
