Job Summary
To support a remote healthcare team, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Pharmacy Technician Coordinator will manage inbound and outbound communications with physician offices, ensure proper documentation and patient profile creation, and maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Convey professional communication with physician offices and manage inbound document organization in pharmacy management systems
- Execute steps for creating patient profiles and manage prescription refill requests while documenting progress in relevant systems
- Handle internal inquiries and maintain the main pharmacy line, transferring calls as needed based on reported drug/program issues
Required qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Three years of experience in a healthcare-related call center, pharmacy physician's office, or social service environment
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
- Strong time management and organizational skills with a professional demeanor
