Job Summary
To ensure the accuracy and timeliness of billing functions and prescription fulfillment, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Program Supervisor will manage team activities, oversee compliance with regulations, and communicate with clients and manufacturers while working remotely in proximity to the pharmacy location.
Key responsibilities
- Manage verification of coverage with third-party payers and resolve billing issues, including claim resubmissions and adjustments
- Ensure prescriptions are billed according to Medicare/DMEPOS regulations and maintain accurate record-keeping across departments
- Assist in developing and reviewing policies for the prescription fulfillment department while ensuring compliance with laws and accreditation standards
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in pharmacy and/or healthcare
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience
- Registration/Certification with the Board of Pharmacy as required by law
- Preferred Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) and 1-3 years of experience in Health Care Management
- Ability to organize team activities, provide superior customer service, and experience with accounting and billing software
