Kentucky Licensed Project Manager

Job Summary

To provide project management and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, a Kentucky Licensed Project Manager will work remotely on a contract basis, focusing on planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of IT projects while ensuring compliance with state standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, risks, and change requests while coordinating activities among stakeholders and vendors
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and prepare status reports for management
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure vendor performance meets contractual deliverables and quality expectations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale Information Technology projects
• Experience managing Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid software development projects
• Proficient in writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and managing project documentation
• Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or Jira
