Job Summary
To provide project management and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, a Kentucky Licensed Project Manager will work remotely on a contract basis, focusing on planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of IT projects while ensuring compliance with state standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, and change requests while coordinating activities among stakeholders and vendors
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and prepare status reports for management
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure vendor performance meets contractual deliverables and quality expectations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale Information Technology projects
- Experience managing Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid software development projects
- Proficient in writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and managing project documentation
- Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or Jira
