Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychologist Peer Reviewer, licensed in Kentucky, to conduct clinical reviews and make insurance benefit coverage determinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical reviews for service authorization and ongoing outpatient care
• Review requests for non-standard outpatient services and appeals of denied services
• Participate in consultations, staff meetings, and trainings while composing clinical determinations

Required Qualifications:

• Independently licensed doctoral level Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Kentucky
• 2+ years of post-licensure experience
• Experience dealing with insurance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a clinical team
