Kentucky Licensed Research Billing Coordinator

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Kentucky Licensed Research Billing Coordinator will review clinical research patient accounts to ensure accurate billing in alignment with trial protocols and collaborate with various teams for claims processing.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical research patient accounts against trial protocols, contracts, and medical records
• Collaborate with the registration team, coding manager, and billing department to ensure accurate claims processing
• Facilitate the identification of research patients and ensure proper billing of study-related services

Required qualifications

• Associate Degree in Business
• Two years of experience in healthcare finance or revenue cycle operations
• Two or more years of experience in clinical research (preferred)
• Familiarity with medical terminology and/or medical coding (preferred)
• Preferred certifications include Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
