Kentucky Licensed Revenue Integrity Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ED Revenue Integrity Specialist II, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily revenue integrity audits and charge reconciliation for Emergency Department (ED) charges
• Collaborate with care providers to resolve missing documentation and ensure timely charge capture
• Research and resolve billing and coding issues to ensure timely filing of clean claims

Required Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED required
• Upkeep of one of the following certified coding credentials: RHIT, RHIA, CPC, CPC-H, CCA, CCS, or CCS-P
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute healthcare setting with charge entry or healthcare billing
• 3 years of prior outpatient coding or ED technician/nursing experience in addition to the certified coding credential
• Experience related to charging for infusion and injection medications is preferred
