Kentucky Licensed Revenue Integrity Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ED Revenue Integrity Specialist II, Remote, 8:00a-4:30p.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily revenue integrity audits and charge reconciliation for Emergency Department (ED) charges
• Collaborate with internal customers to ensure accurate documentation and timely charge capture
• Assign appropriate coding and modifiers in accordance with CMS guidelines and resolve billing issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED required
• Upkeep of a nationally accepted Certified Coding Credential (e.g., RHIT, RHIA, CPC)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute healthcare setting with charge entry or healthcare billing
• 3 years of prior outpatient coding or ED clinical experience required in addition to the certified coding credential
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
