Job Summary

Evaluating and placing commercial insurance opportunities, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will negotiate terms, develop coverage solutions, and collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams in a hybrid or remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
• Negotiate terms and obtain quotes from insurance carriers to ensure optimal placement outcomes
• Maintain relationships with carriers, underwriters, and internal producers while ensuring compliance with service model standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of experience in Commercial Insurance within a retail brokerage or independent agency
• Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts, including E&S Marketplace coverage
• P&C License required
• Advanced industry designation(s) such as CPCU, CIC, or ARM is a plus
