Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time remote Kentucky Licensed Safety Consultant will conduct complex risk assessments, identify potential risk exposures, and provide advanced technical guidance on safety practices and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct complex risk assessments for insured properties and operations to inform underwriting decisions
- Formulate strategic recommendations to mitigate identified risks and design loss prevention programs tailored to client needs
- Monitor the effectiveness of loss control measures and provide training for clients on safety practices and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Safety Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in loss control, risk management, or a related field within the property and casualty insurance industry
- Progress toward professional designations such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) is preferred
- Advanced analytical and risk assessment skills with a strong ability to use data for problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills to engage effectively with clients
