Kentucky Licensed Safety Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time remote Kentucky Licensed Safety Consultant will conduct complex risk assessments, identify potential risk exposures, and provide advanced technical guidance on safety practices and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct complex risk assessments for insured properties and operations to inform underwriting decisions
• Formulate strategic recommendations to mitigate identified risks and design loss prevention programs tailored to client needs
• Monitor the effectiveness of loss control measures and provide training for clients on safety practices and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Safety Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in loss control, risk management, or a related field within the property and casualty insurance industry
• Progress toward professional designations such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) is preferred
• Advanced analytical and risk assessment skills with a strong ability to use data for problem-solving
• Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills to engage effectively with clients
