Job Summary
To support equitable literacy instruction across Kentucky partner districts, the part-time Kentucky Licensed School Systems Coach will collaborate with school leaders, design professional development, and document coaching efforts while working remotely with some travel required.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with school and district leaders to identify instructional focus areas and develop strategies for improving ELA instruction
- Design and facilitate equity-centered professional development for teachers, supporting them in data analysis and curriculum implementation
- Maintain accurate coaching documentation and codify tools and resources to enhance the coaching model
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- 5+ years of K-12 ELA teaching experience with demonstrated student impact
- 3+ years of instructional coaching or teacher leadership experience
- Experience supporting multilingual learners and students with IEPs
- Experience implementing high-quality ELA curricula
