Job Summary

To enhance security monitoring and detection capabilities, the fully remote Kentucky Licensed Senior SIEM Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SIEM ingestion pipelines and analytics while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the technical design and optimization of SIEM ingestion pipelines and analytics
  • Ensure high-quality telemetry from log sources and support complex troubleshooting efforts
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the strategic direction of the SIEM platform
Required qualifications
  • Minimum five years of experience in security engineering or SOC operations, with at least three years focused on SIEM platforms
  • Demonstrated experience with SIEM design, ingestion architecture, and detection tuning
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex ingestion failures and data quality issues
  • Experience working directly with SOC, incident response, and engineering teams on security events
  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent experience
