Job Summary
To enhance access to mental health services for women, the part-time Kentucky Licensed Women's PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits via telehealth, providing treatment recommendations and collaborating with OB/GYN providers and care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits for perinatal and peri/menopausal patients through telehealth
- Complete pre-conception medication consultations and provide psycho-education for individuals on psychotropic medications
- Perform asynchronous consultations by reviewing clinical information and medical records, providing treatment recommendations for patients not improving under current plans
Required Qualifications:
- Kentucky Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Ability to practice independently without supervision in Kentucky
- Active DEA license in Kentucky
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Experience or interest in perinatal or perimenopause mental health and collaborative care
