Job Summary
Managing complex workers' compensation claims, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Workers' Compensation Claims Representative will investigate, resolve, and maintain accurate reserves while collaborating with various stakeholders, working in a hybrid capacity with remote flexibility and occasional office visits in Carmel, IN.
Key responsibilities
- Execute ongoing claim management activities to achieve favorable outcomes in alignment with the ecovery Return to Wellness philosophy
- Investigate assigned claims to assess coverage and determine compensability while maintaining accurate case reserves
- Prepare claim status reports and manage Return to Wellness initiatives in collaboration with agents and clients
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of experience in workers' compensation claims management, or ten years in a professional claims capacity without a degree
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable state laws and industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications
- Advanced analytical skills for interpreting information and making claims-related decisions
- Excellent organizational and negotiation skills
