Job Summary

To support an upcoming U.S. Department of Justice immigration hearing, the contract Kham (Nepali Dialect) Court Interpreter will provide video remote interpreting services, ensuring accurate and impartial interpretation during formal court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete consecutive interpretation between Kham and English during immigration court proceedings
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Follow court interpreting protocols and ethical standards

Required Qualifications

• Must be based in the United States
• Proven court interpreting experience, preferably in immigration hearings
• Fluency in Kham (Nepali Dialect) and English
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and court procedures
• Professional demeanor and reliability
