Khmer Interpreter

Job Summary

Providing professional interpreting services in healthcare settings, the remote Khmer Interpreter will work as an independent contractor, conducting assignments via phone or Zoom based on demand and qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and clear interpretation in medical, legal, and community contexts
• Facilitate communication between Khmer and English speakers in both directions
• Collaborate effectively with diverse individuals, including medical professionals and patients

Required qualifications

• Fluency in both Khmer and English
• Demonstrated experience in professional interpretation
• Formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience
• Willingness to obtain necessary medical clearances and background checks
• Access to reliable technology and a quiet workspace for remote assignments
