Knowledge Graph Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a production-grade property graph platform, the full-time remote Knowledge Graph Engineer will design and implement graph schemas, build data ingestion pipelines, and optimize queries for customer insights and segmentation.
Key responsibilities
- Architect property graph schemas and design vertex-centric indexes for enhanced performance
- Develop and validate bulk load and real-time change data capture pipelines using technologies like AWS Neptune and Apache Kafka
- Write and optimize Gremlin traversal queries for various segmentation use cases and document performance benchmarks
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in graph database engineering with expertise in Gremlin or TinkerPop
- Proficiency in AWS Neptune or similar cloud graph databases, including bulk loader operations and HA configuration
- Experience with Apache Kafka and Flink for designing CDC pipelines
- Strong knowledge of property graph data modeling and performance profiling at scale
- Familiarity with graph embedding algorithms and tools such as Node2Vec and AWS SageMaker
