Knowledge Management Specialist

Job Summary

Knowledge Management Specialist, a non-staff consultant position for up to 11 months, is responsible for developing knowledge management methodologies, conducting audits, and supporting capacity development across projects related to climate change, biodiversity, and sustainable agrifood systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop customized experience capitalization methodologies and conduct knowledge management audits
• Support the establishment of knowledge-sharing platforms and Communities of Practice
• Design and implement project-level knowledge management strategies and monitoring frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in relevant fields such as social sciences, knowledge management, or environmental governance
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience for PSAs; five years for Consultants in knowledge management and capacity development
• Proficiency in English (working knowledge of another UN language is an asset)
• Experience in designing training materials and knowledge management products
• Ability to conduct fieldwork and engage with diverse stakeholders effectively
