Korean Localization Editor

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Korean Localization Editor will review, edit, and improve localized game content for Guild Wars 3, ensuring a polished and culturally authentic player experience while collaborating with various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and refine Korean-localized content for quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance
• Create and maintain localization resources such as glossaries and style guides
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the localization process to ensure alignment with the game's creative direction

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of professional experience in translation, editing, or writing
• 1 year of experience in game or software localization or QA
• Strong understanding of Korean grammar, tone, and cultural nuance
• Experience reviewing and editing player-facing content for quality and consistency
