Job Summary

Seeking qualified independent contractors, Korean Remote Interpreters will facilitate Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) assignments remotely, ensuring accurate and impartial communication while adhering to ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate accurate communication by interpreting everything said without alteration
• Maintain impartiality and confidentiality while interpreting in the first person
• Continuously improve interpreting skills and provide excellent customer service to clients

Required qualifications

• Absolute fluency in English and Korean
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential interpretation duties
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
• Capability to write simple correspondence effectively
• Experience presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings
